Funding statement

When the Manston DCO was accepted for examination the Planning Inspectorate issued a Section 51 letter (link) on the 14 August 2018 which detailed what the Examining Authority required immediately. The Section 51 letter asked for various financial matters to be addressed as a matter of urgency.
This 1st deadline was reached 5 months later on the 18/1/2019 giving plenty of time for the following questions to be fully answered and those questions were the following
If people cast their mind back to the previous two abortive CPO attempts you will remember that both failed because Freudmann & Co failed to provide assurances that they actually had any money, the first because they had equity of $2M and a credit line of $400K from an obscure American bank and the second because their "due diligence" failed owing to redacting financial statements which provided absolutely zero reassurance they had any money at all.

The reply from RSP's lawyers was received for Deadline 1 (18/1/2019) and is available here. It falls well short of the requirements the Examining Authority required  however for some reason nothing has yet been done about the shortfalls.

Maybe or maybe not
Or again maybe not
"RSP does not generally have funds or assets" Never a truer word spoken
But as 90% is owned by MIO Investments registered in Belize and therefore who controls RSP what are those ownership details (still not answered)
So translated we still may never tell you who they are

So to clarify despite having 5 months in which to answer some pretty basic questions, as per normal, Freudmann fails to provide answers however as Deadline 3 was reached on the 15th February 2019 many observers are agog waiting for some actual information. I suspect the 4 examiners are less than amused by the lack of actual information provided.
Still maybe that will change but I won't hold my breath.

Freudmann and his new clothes

When this sorry saga started back at the end of 2013 Anthony Freudmann was in the vanguard of attempts to acquire the site. It is said he was upset at losing the site in 2005 when Planestation went into receivership when the banks pulled the plug over the debts that the company built up trying to acquire ex military airfields.
He had approached Ann Gloag with a view to buy the site from her and to ensure he was able to fund the purchase he had approached TDC with a view to build 1000 houses on the old grass runway.
He was rebuffed and as they say the rest is history.
As he has an unusual surname it has been easy to fill in his entire CV to date and the bare bones are as follows:

As you can see he was born in Wrexham in 1946 just after the 2nd World War was over and peace had returned. Up until 1991 his education and career was meteoric and successful and until the aberration over misappropriation of his clients funds his career was on the rise. It has always been a mystery as to why he threw it all away. The case caused quite a stir in the community and he was forced to resign from Salop Council in disgrace.

In 1994 he joined Wiggins and was put in charge of land acquisitions which led to Wiggins buying Manston for £4.75M from the MOD and the RAF finally leaving Manston for good.
We all know how that ended with the collapse of Planestation (Wiggins) in 2005.

Some might ask what this has to do with the current attempt to acquire the land by Riveroak using the Planning Act 2008 DCO process and whether it is even relevant to 2019. Well recently Tony has bee reinventing himself once again. This attempt is doomed to fail but it hasn't stopped him trying. As someone pointed out in 2015

As someone said #truthwillout despite his attempts to bury his past but rewriting history even to the point he changes where he was born and grew up. Leaving out his time as a crooked solicitor who was struck off for misappropriation of client funds.
This is how he describes his past history and some might wonder just why he is lying, both directly and by omission.
Could it be that he doesn't want those involved in the DCO, both supporters and PINS, to know about his chequered past or maybe these web postings are aimed at potential investors who might be reticent in putting money into a project led by such a dishonest person.
As an aside Annax Aviation as a UK registered company was owned and managed by Tony alone but neither company is still active so in his bio above he must be talking about the same name company registered in Gibraltar

For those that want to read more about the period as a solicitor before his aberration I attach the history.
